Karnival is owned, conceptualised and performed by a fantastic team of creative minds.

Creative Director – Jack Meredith
Born and bred in Birmingham but with an instinct to travel, Jack worked in America before graduating from Leeds University where he studied theatre and performance. Jack then ran away to Africa for eleven months and upon his return decided that this world needs more fun, more happiness and ultimately more parties. Hence, Karnival.

Managing Director – Michael Lever
The second half (but not lesser half) of the visionary team who created Karnival, Michael has been producing events and Festivals for some years now. Michael has produced events such as the Nationally acclaimed Manchester Food and Drink Festival and Summer in the Park Music Festival. With a desire to succeed in his own right, Karnival became a reality as he drives the company onward and upward.

Brand Designer – Jessica Wabbit
Jessica Patrick is in her final year at Bolton University doing a degree in animation and illustration. Jessica has been described as versatile in a sense of exploring her diverse creative approach to design.She has built up an exciting portfolio of work which has received an abundance of commendation. Jessica is available for private commissions so if you like her work, why not get in touch to find out more about her creative talents. Musical Director – Michael Clay aka DJ Tacet
Michael is a DJ and music producer based in Cheshire. He was asked to create the soundscape for Karnival and to be the resident DJ – two tasks which he happily accepted, and is now looking forward to bringing you the world of Karnival through music. Costume Designer – Romy Townend
Romy graduated from Manchester Metropolitan with a first class degree in fashion design. Romy’s final collection was chosen to open the Manchester fashion shows at both Graduate Fashion Week in London and Manchester and also nominated for the Pringle innovative knitwear. Since graduating she has worked mainly in costume and as a free lance designer. Web Designer – Leon Barrett
Leon Barrett is a web developer based in Birmingham. He specialises in creating engaging interactive web applications, ranging from bespoke eCommerce application to scalable file sharing solutions.
